If the food comes after three minutes, this can be a very bad sign, at least for fried potatoes that have been ordered. It was like that. When time is replaced by fat, the result is a misshapen mass. The impression that this has been "pre-cooked" over the long term is very strong. But you can understand the really opulent price. With very manageable opening times the money has to be earned in a short time. My tip: the restaurant is a few hundred meters away "Wiepeldorn". Full gastronomic pleasure for a little more money.

A friendly and warm welcome from the landlady despite the late hour. The landlord is at the stove himself. There is solid home cooking. The so far best catfish fillet in the lake district was served together with fried potatoes of the highest quality. A revelation. With freshly tapped Lübzer. It couldn't be better. Worth a trip.

I don't understand the positive review. The food was bad, the service overwhelmed. It took over an hour until we got the food, at that time it was unfortunately no longer possible to go anywhere else as there are no other restaurants in the area. Potato pancakes out of the bag, you should be ashamed of the salad, not fried potatoes. Absolute failure. Only to be endured with alcohol, which was at least good.
